Automate sparseimage compacting
Thanks to this forum, I learned how to manually compact my sparseimages through the hdiutil compact command in terminal.
What I would like to do is this: 1) create a script that will open terminal services and run the hdiutil compact command 2) have the above run every 2 weeks at a specific time. I figured instead of guessing and trial/error, I would ask the forum members. I believe someone must have the same need and has already done this. BTW: the O/S I would be using is Tiger. Thanks for assisting. |
