Still unsure...
My concern is that since there have been some audio files recorded to this internal drive, there are bits and pieces of files floating around. I want to clean it all up and the best guarantee of having a pristine drive is to do a format. Not a low-level, just a basic. So, is there an easy way to specify which files will be returned to their exact working order and not bring back any system and/or unwanted files?
Thanks very much. |

Bits and pieces of files floating around? I don't see how that could be. But, what you could do is do a clean install of Tiger to your drive and then "migrate" the settings and files from the external to the internal when prompted during your first boot (it'll ask if you have an old Mac you want to move things from).
But, I honestly don't think it's necessary -- but, of course, it's totally your choice.
