Volumn name incorrect at startup after cloning
I've been cloning some volumes to sparsebundles, and now when I hold down the option key at boot time to select the startup volume, at this initial screen one of the startup volumes has the name of a sparsebundle I created with SD! rather than the name of the volume as visible in the Finder or in Disk Utility.
Is there a place where this info is stored that can be reset? It's not the end of the world...it's just a bit confusing! |

Try selecting it in the startup disk preference pane instead.
