Thumbs up run from secondary drive?

I saw this in the review:
Quote:
The whole idea of SuperDuper is that instead of running off of your primary installed system in OS X, you make a “safety clone of that system on some other partition or drive and boot from that safety clone version. If you add system updates, drivers, or third party software which mucks up your system, you can immediately roll back to the untouched primary (backup) system. If on the other hand everything works out fine with the new additions, you can then clone that working system back onto the primary.
Is this the recommended operating procedure?

I am very happy to have found this software. I will spend the money and see how the more exotic and exciting features work.

Cheers,

fellowman
