Smart Update Takes A Long Time
I'm doing a Smart Update right now and it seems to be hung up in the Copy Files mode (#2 of the process)..I can see the glassy blue-barometer and it's not moving, nor is the "xxxxx of xxxxxxxx files evaluated" indicator. Now, this morning I inadvertantly unmounted the External HD that I'm copying to..I just pulled out the firewire without ejecting it...Had some problems remounting the volume. Is that what is causing the problem..
When I click the "stop" button..It warns me that SuperDuper has not finished preparing the target volume and if I stop, it will leave my Ext HD in an "unknown state...It's already been 30 minutes...Usually it doesn't take this long... What should I do? Henri |
