Working with no net! ETA on 10.5 compatibility?

I've got no clone of my new 10.5 install. I'm OK with my previous Tiger install, but that is rapidly getting old.

If possible, can we get a general idea of the ETA of 10.5 compatibility? I don't need an exact date and I understand that things happen in software development that make committing to a timeline difficult. But, the answer will help me, and probably many others, plan a backup strategy in the interim.

That said, is it expected within days, weeks, months, or years?

Thanks.

We're going as fast as we can. I'm not going to commit to a timeframe, except to say it's certainly not going to be years.

I'm hoping it's also not going to be "months" or even more than a couple "weeks" since I've decided to hold off installing Leopard on my primary machine until SuperDuper! is ready to go.

However, I have installed Leopard via "Upgrade" on an essentially stock secondary machine and everything went well and Time Machine is functioning fine. Reading the boards, looks like I'm one of the lucky ones. Lots of problems with highly customized installs...which isn't too surprising I suppose.
