Restore from NAS
Hello @ all,
I've tried to restore my OS X (Leo) from a NAS Store via SMB using the installer disc. However, it seems that SMB on the console through the installer disc is not implemented. Does anyone get that working before? |

That's right, only AFP works from the installer disc. Does your NAS support AFP?

Not from the standard. It only supports SMB, NFS & FTP..........
So, the only solution will be, put the .dmg on a USB disk and restore from it? |

You could do a quick install of OSX to an external drive (memory stick, USB drive, whatever) and that will give you full networking. You could then restore from the NAS.
