SD seemed to hang on "creating ASR image"
I have just created a new smart update script to cover backing up my internal drive to an existing external FW drive mirror. I used a modified "BackupAll" Smart Update script excluding two additional folders, which is the same kind of script I had been using for this process.
At the end of its process, the script seemed to hang on "creating ASR image" of the home drive. I don't recall seeing that before. After finding nothing on it here except "that shouldn't be happening," I stopped the script. Should I have let it complete? What should I do now - either to let SD finish something important it was doing or to ensure I don't see that message in future? Thanks! Running 10.8.2 on a 2.7 GH iMac. |
