Yes, via "Startup Disk" is fine (but obviously of no use if I have an internal HD failure).
When using Option/boot the Startup Manager screen appears, with the cursor in clock mode for about a minute. When it goes 'normal' I select the second (unlabled) OS X disk and click the 'continue' arrow. I then get the grey screen with Apple logo for an instant before the barred circle appears. |
