Catalina and T2 Chip Question
I am running a new Mac Pro (2019) that has the T2 security chip.
I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.5, and SuperDuper! 3.3.1 (v121). My question is whether or not I will be able to boot the Mac Pro from the external hard drive where the SuperDuper! backup is located - connected via Thunderbolt. I understand from another software vendor (SoftRaid) that to be able to boot the Mac Pro with the T2 security chip from an external hard drive that I will have to restart the Mac Pro into Recovery Mode and disable secure boot. Do you know anything about this? Thanks, Stan |
