Installations

SuperDuper! seems to be a "super" nifty utility.

I want things to be clear before buy it:
- I create a Sandbox with "Share users and app",
- I boot from the Sandbox, so that I can modify the system, without affecting the system on the original.
OK...

Now, as far as installations (Apple or 3rd party) are concerned, should I install on the Sandbox or in the Original HD ?
I would rather do it on the original HD, then update the Sandbox, and reboot from it. Am I wright ?

Alternatively, if your advice is to install on the Sandbox, how can I manage it at the original HD level ?
