Cloning to Time Machine Disk
How can I clone my iMac to the same external drive as my Time Machine backup.
If I select the Time Machine drive - I am required to erase it first. Gary |

Use "Smart Update" in Options under "During copy" (and make sure you're using v2.5 of SuperDuper).

Dave,
I have an Intel iMac so does the external drive have to be GUID formatted? |

If you want it to be bootable, yes, it should be GUID *partitioned* (not formatted).
