Many thanks, Dave. As usual, your response was clear, quick and correct.
To be on the safe side I simply reformatted the drive and reset the backup on SD. When I launched SD the name of the drive, sans numbers, appeared in the drop-down list and I was able to select it and start the copy. The first clone ran last night and by this morning it had completed without errors. I appreciate your help. Response like this, in addition to your great product, is why I always recommend SD as the #1 backup. I tell my friends, "Time Machine restores files. SuperDuper restores peace of mind." |
