Backup error - please help!
I'm getting the following error when attempting to Smart Update my internal G5 drive to an external FW drive. It had been working flawlessly up until this morning, when I enabled .Mac Sync on the G5. I recently got a new PB and want to keep the two computers synchronized. The reason I mention this is that the error seems to have something to do with Sync, but I don't know what. Any help you could offer would be appreciated!

Chris --
The problem is that something in the listed tree was locked when it was backed up, but was subsequently changed. Since it's still locked on the destination, when we try to change it, it fails. We have a fix for this planned for 2.0.2, but in the meantime you can fix it by doing a single erase-then-copy, and then switch back to Smart Update. Alternatively, you can look at the various folders listed below Sync Services, and check their lock state. Unlock any that are locked (on the backup), and that'll fix it too. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your quick reply Dave. I was able to unlock the file and backup successfully.
