A favor asked of advanced users out there
I love SD but have no programming experience. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out and create a little code to share with the Mac community. I would love it if someone could create a post-copy script that adds the source drive name, date, and time to the Spotlight comments of the target volume. I guess the tricky part would be not erasing any other Spotlight comments while being smart enough to overwrite the target drive, date, and time comments from the previous backup. This would be handy for me and I'm sure other Mac and SD users could take advantage of it. I am grateful if anyone would program this. Thanks!
