folders

Dave---
I just realized that the folders full of files on my desktop are NOT aliased (not also in my hard drive). Does SD back those desktop folders up, too (with all their contents)--or do I have to put them in the HD and make aliases for the desktop. It's silly to worry about that nearly a year after I started doing backups, but it never occurred to me to wonder about it.
Thanks,
Lea

Desktop folders are on your regular drive, and are copied -- the Desktop is just a folder, named "Desktop", in your Home folder.

And after using Macs for more than 15 years, why didn't I remember that??!! Must be a truly senior moment

Thanks, as always, for your prompt reply,

Lea
