What happens if you open and save files during a scheduled BU?

That depends on whether we've already copied the contents of that folder. We don't go back and "re-copy", though...

No, there should be no real damage, but you should not run programs that write or use large files (e.g. Parallels, VMWare, Entourage, BitTorrent, EyeTV, etc).
