error processing extended attributes: Cannot allocate memory
I'm running SuperDuper! 2.1 (v77) on Mac OS X 10.4.6 (8I127 - PPC).
My old backup drive gave up the ghost today, so i've replaced it. I noticed when running SD! i'm now seeing this message being repeated: /Users/mcgaw/Applications/SuperDuper!.app/Contents/MacOS/SDCopy: error processing extended attributes: Cannot allocate memoryThis is happening during a full disk copy as well as Smart Update runs. The first copy of the main drive to the new backup drive with SD! caused this message to be emitted 7,136 times. Is this something that is likely to be affecting the integrity of the contents of my backup drive? Thanks! |

Hey,
I don't know what this is, but I think it was discussed last month. Please check out this thread: http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/s...hp?postid=5889 Cheers. -- Jonas |

Yeah, as Jonas said, we've discussed this at some length. It's harmless, and won't have any effect on your backup.
