Dropbox files locally stored
I use Dropbox and have elected to also have all my Dropbox files stored locally, e.g. physically present on the computer main drive, in addition to be in the cloud. (Dropbox offers options to store files both locally and in the cloud, or just in the cloud; I elected to have files stored both in the cloud and locally.) The folder location is: username/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox. I perform regular backups (Time Machine and SuperDuper) in order to have backups of all the Dropbox files.
I can see the locally stored Dropbox files in my Time Machine backups, but my SuperDuper clone does not have them. In fact it does not seem to have the CloudStorage folder at all that is in my user Library folder. Are these files all excluded from SuperDuper's backup? They are physically present on my hard drive so I had expected them to be physically present in the SuperDuper clone but they aren't there. P.S. I now see this in the SuperDuper log: Ignoring /Users/xxxxx/Library/CloudStorage This means that all the files that are locally stored as well as in the cloud (the local storage mirrors what is in Dropbox cloud) are not copied by SuperDuper? Correct: we do not copy the Cloud Storage folder. You can, of course, re-add it with a copy script if you want, but for users who do *not* keep everything local (the vast majority), copying it caused issues.

Understood. And makes sense for those who physically store those files in the cloud and not on their local machine. I keep everything in the Dropbox folder on the local machine (mirrored in the cloud) and decided to simply make a clone of that Dropbox folder using the scripts and commands offered already by SuperDuper.
