Moving backed up DVD.
When 10.5 came out we purchased it and backed it up to our hard drive. Now we are upgrading to a new 500 gig hard drive and when we tried to back it up to the new drive it appeared to work, but when we try to use it we get errors saying files are missing. We are using the "Backup-all files" setting so what could we be doing wrong?

I don't know what files would be missing; do you have any more detailed error?

It doesn't say what files are missing but in Disk Utility we can see that the original says "Number of Files :16,729" while the SuperDuper copy says "Number of Files :16,764"
When we try to use the SuperDuper version we get the error: "The application "Install Mac OS X" cannot be used from this volume." This doesn't happen from the original partition. |

I really don't know why this would be. I've certainly copied the OSX DVD without trouble.
