No boot on new PM Quad core...
Have a SATA 'Cuda installed on internal disk bus and cloned a system disk to the drive. Start disk control panel recognizes the cloned drive and the system folder and allows selection, but when I try to boot it always goes back to the factory system drive. I'm going to try an install from the OSX DVD to see if it will at least boot from the drive. Brand new system, 10.5.2.
Other suggestions? |

How are you checking which drive you're booting from? People often look at the drive position, which doesn't tell you -- you need to verify in the "About This Mac" panel...

Ahhh Grasshopper, you have great knowledge...
Yes, it is running off the the new drive. Fell for the old drive location trap.
