SuperDuper! and massive download problems
I've noticed that every time I let iTunes download files when SuperDuper! starts backing up by schedule, SuperDuper! gets in an endless loop.
Does anyone know of a script I can let SuperDuper! run that pauses any downloads that are currently active on a my Mac, and of course a script to resume those downloads? I hate to be forced to take SuperDuper! out of scheduled backup mode, or, conversely, to remember to pauses all my automated downloads at the scheduled backup time. Mac OS X 10.3.9. |

Alas, this is a known, documented issue -- you don't want to run a program that's downloading files while we're backing up... perhaps you could write a little AppleScript to quit iTunes before the backup, and schedule it with iCal?
