Backup to windows PC
Hi,
i am new here.. sorry if my question is lame. I just need to backup some data files from mac (pics/vids/texts/diskimage) to to some place externally for few hrs. since the size is bit larger like 25gb. i dont have an immediate external source to save. is it possible to move that much of file to an PC through ethernet or usb connected directly? i am nto going to use those backup files in windows or view it. after i have to move it back again to mac. is it possible? thks in advance Joe |

You can create a 'sparse image' over a network and store it on the PC, sure, as long as the destination PC is formatted as something other than FAT32.

I mean it has to support large files, > 4GB, which means NTFS, typically.
