Same SD on two computers?

I tried searching to get an answer to this but no luck. (Probably my fault).

I have used SD through Tiger to Lion on my MacBookPro. Works great.

A friend is giving me an Air with Snow Leopard.

Here's my question: can I use my SD on both with just one serial or do I have to buy a new one? I intend to back each computer up to it's own external hd.

Can I use the backed up programs from my MacBookPro to install them on the Air?

Thanks for any help on this.

SuperDuper! can be used on your own personal Macs, used by you - but we certainly appreciate registrations, since that's how we eat, etc.

I don't know whether the Air will support the MBP Backup, but you can try migrating from it. Whether you are *licensed* to use the same programs on both Macs is something I can't answer.
