While waiting for update try this
I cloned my Leopard Macbook by this procedure:
I formatted an external drive with a GUID partition with my MacBook running Leopard 10.5.1 Connnected it to my G4 (all firewire of course) waited till it mounted then I plugged my powered down MacBook to the other port on the external drive. Started it up on Target mode. Ran super duper from my G4 and selected the MacBook as the source and the newly created partition on the external as the destination- Result: Perfectly cloned MacBook on my external drive. Works fine and starts up my MacBook. |
