Can't delete locked .rtfd during smart backup
I get this error message;
| 02:08:02 AM | Info | Error removing item: /Volumes/G4 Factory/Users/martin/Documents/iNotePad/Backup/Mac applications/2006-04-30 13:18:53 -0700 - Mac applications.iNotePad/System.folder/SuperDuper!.folder/Bug with locked items.rtfd/.typeAttributes.dict of type: 100000, Operation not permitted | 02:08:02 AM | Error | SDCopy: Error deleting /Volumes/G4 Factory/Users/martin/Documents/iNotePad/Backup/Mac applications/2006-04-30 13:18:53 -0700 - Mac applications.iNotePad/System.folder/SuperDuper!.folder/Bug with locked items.rtfd/.typeAttributes.dict | 02:08:02 AM | Error | : Operation not permitted This is a bug which I signalled already several months ago and had really hoped that it would be solved. Is this difficult? I am using a program called iNotePad and you can lock files. Those files are stored in a hidden directory as simple rtf or rtfd files. SuperDuper was able to copy that file to the target volume (in my case a concatuated "RAID" out of 3 drives), yet when deleting the file on the target volume during a smart backup it gave this error. The complete backup process had stopped it seems. Sincerely, martin. |
