How to migrate
Have 2 iMacs (2017 and 2019) and the newer one is still on Catalina and the older one is on Big Sur. Newer one definitely has fusion drive and not sure on the older one but think not

New iMac for wife - No more firewire
Wife's 2008 iMac had the 8800GS video card go belly up (this makes 2 of 2 on those iMac video cards) and I went and bought her a new iMac yesterday.
Of course it only has USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt....

Finally got it figured out.
The 4GB DIMM in...
Finally got it figured out.
The 4GB DIMM in slot 4 was bad. Replaced the pair of 4GB DIMMs in the iMac and all is well.
Funny thing is I never really seen a bad memory module cause disk...

Restore Bad - What did I do wrong?
I was trying to run Apple Hardware Test and ended up finding myself in a position where the system would not boot from the internal hard drive. I booted from my backup drive and ran disk utility....
