This usually indicates that the drive was accessed by Leopard but is now under Tiger. Was the data ever directly accessed, on this drive, by Leopard?
Try using Finder to duplicate the "Cache" folder (quit iTunes first). Once done, delete the original and rename the copy back to Cache. Then empty your trash.
