.Mac Sync on Sandbox

Hello,

I stated out with Safari bookmarks etc on my main partition synchronized with .Mac.

Then I started using a Sandbox (shared user data, not applications). As expected all my bookmarks were there. They don't seem to be updating though.

When I boot from the sandbox and go to "Sync" tab of the .Mac control panel, "Synchronize with .Mac" is not selected. When I select it, I get this warning:

"A computer named <something> is already registered with the .Mac synchronization server. If you use the same name for two different computers you may lose your synchronized information on all registered computers"

It gives me the option of "Use same name" or "Enter another name".

I guess it's ok to "Use same name", since it's really the same data. But I would like to know if anyone has actually safely done this for a while.

Thanks.
