Thank you sdsl, I haven't thought of that really, but my backups went back to 11-3 minutes for a Smart Update now. It seems that the iWork istallation caused that many files came onto the system and then the amount of data obviously insreased a bit so I guess SD needed some extra time to sort this out.

It's back to normal :-)
