erase then copy creates an apple partition on MacBook

using the script "erase then copy" creates an apple instead GUID partition on my MacBook.
Is there a option to set to get the correct partition scheme?

We don't create partitions at all, Peter, regardless of script. If you want to change the partition type, you should use Disk Utility.

Sorry, I was not accurate enough. I did create the Partition with Disk Utility and then an erase/copy of the internal HD to an external HD with SuperDuper. After that the partition scheme was apple instead of GUID. Everthing is OK if I use SmartUpdate which does not erase the HD bevor copy.

I understand, but we can't do that. Our erase-then-copy simply erases the volume. It never touches the partitioning scheme.
