Corrupted sparseimage header - how to repair?

Hello,

is there any chance of repairing a sparseimage with damaged resorce header when OS X disk util and DiskWarrior fail? The image is still 24 GB so I assume that there is still data in it that I like to extract. The image was not encrypted so I guess that I should be possible...

Anybody any idea?

Regards and thanks
Hartmut

Hm - it's a good question. I'd actually direct it to Alsoft: they might have some ideas!

I am a bit confused: Does your answer express that you have never had this before? Strange ... can you give a hint?

I've not had a damaged image that I needed to recover, no. But, since it's really a problem with a volume, and Alsoft specializes in that kind of thing, and their product is not repairing it, I think they're in the best position to help...
