Backup without authentication

I'm wondering whether it is possible to run SD as a non-admin user without any admin-level authentication. The reason is this: I have a separate disk volume for work files (it doesn't contain any system files, or anything that only admin group members would have access to) which I'd like to backup to a clone volume which is on a second HD in my G5. So, I'd like to create an account, which would have only reading rights to the original volume and full rights to the clone volume, and then run SD under this account (without any additional privileges) to prevent the possibility of running the backup to the wrong direction by accident.
