Sanbox appropriate for Tiger to Leopard upgrade?

Hi

Can I use Sandbox to test the upgrade on my MacBook Pro from Tiger to Leopard -- and then return to Tiger on my orig HD if I want to?

The SuperDuper manual says "You can safely install any system updates, drivers or programs in the Sandbox..." but I want to make sure system *upgrades* are safe too.

Thanks,
-Joe
