Can LaunchTunes wake a remote mac?

Launch Tunes looks great. I want to set up a mac mini as my iTunes server (and connected to my LCD TV as a media center), and connect to a consolidated share library from any of the other mac in the house over our wireless network.

Launch Tunes and Netunes together seem to give me what I'm looking for, with one problem...I don't want to leave the mini booted all the time...I need a way to remotely wake it as well as to launch iTunes on it. I know I could do this by writing a script etc, but it seems like a really nice feature to have incorporated into Launch Tunes, so I was wondering if it was there already??

cheers

Euan

Sorry, Euan, it's not -- we don't do wake-on-lan in launchTunes.

I use WakeOnLan together with an Applescript to wake up my iMac then run netTunes.

It works great.

Saling Clicker will wake a machine. Is there any chance you might be persuaded to roll in wake up?

No, we don't wake the remote Mac... sorry. Note, though, that the new wake functionality in Snow Leopard, when used with an Airport base station and an appropriately new Mac, might wake the Mac!
