SD backup to WD MyBook NAS

I have a 1TB MyBook II on my network that I am trying to backup to using SD. It works fine if the backup target is directly connected to the Mac (I have a portable 2.5" drive that I connect via USB), but if I set a share on the MyBook as a target it fails. It tries to create the SparseImage, but I get an error about permissions. Anyone have any thoughts? I'd like to use the NAS - I'm using the 2.5" drive right now just in case of a HD failure.

Thanks,

Brian
