SD Won't find drive / won't quit

Dave -

I'm having two issues these days with SD.

1. I have a scheduled backup of my Macbook using an external drive. When the schedule runs, I usually dismiss the "failed" error, then plug in the external drive and run it from the scheduling window. But lately even when the drive is mounted, SD does not find the drive on its own; I have to select it in the pull down menu first.

2. I have the scheduled backup set to quit SD when finished. This does not happen, and moreover, I cannot manually quit SD after it is done. Apple-Q or Quit from the SD menu does nothing, and I am forced to force-quit it.

Any ideas?

Thanks very much
Andrew

For 1), I'd delete and recreate the schedule.

2) is because of 1. If you Cmd+s then Cmd+q, it'll save the settings you modified (by changing the drive selection) and quit.
