System Restore

When i used a PC, the system restore option was invaluable. I install and try loads of programmes which make uninvited changes to the OS. System Restore restored the operating system (rolled back any nasty changes that had been made to the registry for example), deleted any application change etc but left the actual data intact - files and folders.

Is there a similar back up option using Superduper? I can't see it on the backup drop down list.

Many Thanks
Tim
