Cronnix save error

I tried scheduling my Daily Backup script using Cronnix, but when I try to save the new entry in Cronnix I get an error message saying I have "insufficient privilege" to save it. This is puzzling, since I am logged in as an administrative user. Any suggestions? Thanks!

SquarePants -- did you open the *user's* crontab (your personal one)?

crontab

I don't know. Whichever is opened when you open Cronnix, I guess.

OK. I'm not sure what the problem here is, but can I suggest that you use iCal instead? It'll be a lot easier to set up: simply add a new event (in a new calendar, if you want) for the time of the backup your want. Set the repeat appropriately, and create an alarm 0 minutes before that "opens file".

Select the Daily Backup application, and you should be all set!
