Yet another testimonial

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="4"]I had been waiting for 2.5 to come out, so I could buy a much larger drive for my macbook. It worked fantastic. I cloned my existing drive to an external firewire- installed the new drive- cloned back from external and voila-perfect.
Except I haven't had any apps. crash yet because of pre-binding. The other little annoyance is that my little snitch rules need to be re- worked.
Thanks Dave.

Yeah: Little Snitch doesn't like being copied. Glad it's working well.

Thanks Dave.

I discovered that in setting on non-automatic opening session, Little Snitch propose to continue with the factory default rules, or to continue with our rules.

This can be done to resolve this on the HD before cloning.

Work fine

David, if I may, maybe it would be usefull to have a talk with Objective Development ...

Bruno08's way is also the way I have done it. Snitch as he says will offer you the option of "accepting modified settings" or something like that (those being the ones you want) or "loading default settings." I am not quite sure what he means by resolving before cloning; it usually offers me the choice the first time I boot from a cloned volume.

Yes.

I remember that with Tiger, Little Snitch offered to select the default rules or continue with our own rules on the clone whatever mode opening session that we choose.

The leopard's clone Little Snitch dialog box disappears too fast and leaving no time to choose when there are automated login

What I wonder is whether we can use the import feature to the rules of Little Snitch?
