booting from SD-backup only once
Hey there. I like SD so far but I have a problem. I backed up my whole system to an external Firewire- HD. SD offered me to automaticly boot from that disk after a succesfull backup – hurray, everything went smooth. I could run the backed-up system from my external drive.
But here comes my problem: When I try to boot from the external drive myself (option-key or t-key when starting the computer) the external drive doesn`t show up. This is very strange because I am shure that there is no problem with filesystem, fw, the user privileges or s.th.; booting was possible when SD did it but not when I tried it later. I am cluless. |
