Quick question from a newbie
Just a quick question. I want to carbon copy the entire contents on my primary hard drive to a secondary hard drive. The second hard drive is already partitioned into two volumes. The first is empty, but the second is full of recently scanned negatives (about 60 GB). My DVD burner died before I had a chance to burn them to DVD. The SuperDuper Manual states that the volume I will be copying to (in this case, the currently empty partition) will be erased. Does this mean that only that partition will be erased, or will the entire hard drive (including the second partition with all my scans) be erased. The main reason I'm making the carbon copy is to have a copy of Panther on the second drive before attempting to upgrade to Tiger on the primary hard drive. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Only the volume (partition) will be erased, flashman59 -- the physical drive won't be.
