Western Digital WD2500D032-000 Won't Mount
I've searched WD's support forums and can't seem to find anything covering this: When I plug the HD in, the power LED/button in the middle blinks blue rapidly instead of it's usual more gradual blink, and nothing mounts. Does this mean it's dead? Do I need to take it to data recovery place or is there some way to reset the thing without deleting the files? Also, when I look at my System Profiler (i'm on a MacBook Pro 10.4OS), under the Firewire tab it says "Unable to list FireWire devices."
Thanks in advance. Gary Last edited by kelitupu; 10-07-2008 at 09:50 PM. Reason: adding more detail |
