Can I use a dummy/empty folder instead?
Dave,
Thank but that solution (using sparse Images) won't work for me in this case. I already have the Production data backed up onto he Backup drive and can't convert it into a Sparse lmage (I don't have enough free space and I have to boot off it perdiodically). Will this work... If I create a dummy/empty folder (e.g. "#Extras ") on the Source (Production) drive and make a script to Ignore copying the folder "#Extras", will SD leave that "#Extras" folder, and its contents, untouched on the destination (Backup) drive? |
