Scheduled backup stopped working
Hi Dave,
As always, great product and well worth the price. I evangelize constantly on your behalf! My scheduled backup has stopped working. My Mini is set to go to sleep, so I have a "wake-up" event scheduled for Tuesday at 4:00AM. And I have SuperDuper scheduled to run on Tuesday at 4:02AM. All of which worked just fine until about the time I upgraded to 10.4.4. I've deleted the scheduled events on the Mac and in SuperDuper and redone them, but still nothing happening. Next steps? Thanks in advance for your help. ![]() Jamie |

A few things. First, do a test run with the time of "five minutes from now", and a wake-up at "four minutes from now". If that works, set the wake-up to 4:01...
Note: you have to be logged in, with the screen unlocked, and the account in front for scheduling to work. Hope that helps!

All fixed--thanks for the suggestions. I had checked the option on the Mac to require a password upon awakening from sleep--unchecking this solved the problem. I'm pretty sure that I had that option checked before I moved to 10.4.4, and that SuperDuper ran anyway, but I can live without that extra level of security.
Thanks again for your prompt reply. ![]() Jamie |
