multiple rotated backups
Hi,
I successfully performed my first backup last night, and now I want to rotate several Smart Updates to cover unforeseen circumstances, as described in the introduction of the Help menu. I want to be able to access files that were saved a day ago, a week ago, and a month ago (similar to Mac's Time Machine, which doesn't work on my OS.) I've scheduled a daily backup, a weekly backup, and a monthly backup. In the schedule, the daily backup says it will copy "Macintosh HD." The weekly backup says it will copy "Macintosh HD 1" and the monthly backup says it will copy "Macintosh HD 2." Am I correct in assuming that this is SuperDuper's way of keeping the different versions organized? Will I have 3 different complete backups? Thank you, Glen |
