SuperDuper stops in download

I am a new user desperate to try something sane like SD. But when I try to download the free sample, the download just stops at the end, after mounting the disk images, etc. A message comes up asking if I want to continue even though I am downloading an application; I say yes, and everything stops. Resuming the download doesn't do anything. Any suggestions?

Have you tried using a different browser? I've just checked, and the download is working just fine...

Thanks, that did allow the entire download to work. Yay! But -- when I try to install SD, nothing happens. That is, I doubleclick on the disk image I have now successfully downloaded, and it flashes, as if it were opening, but nothing happens. Sorry to be troublesome . . . any more advice? Thanks!

It should "mount" as a disk in Finder. Do you see it either on your desktop or in the sidebar?

Nope, it doesn't appear anywhere, unlike e.g. the iTunes .dmg, which mounts properly and appears in Finder.

Thanks . . . .

I don't know: that's what it does here. You've restarted, I assume?
