SuperDuper enhancement?

I would like to propose an enhancement. If others think is useful perhaps we could see it in a future release.

A feature to compare Sandbox to the primary partition showing what would be updated on the primary. Being able to select items to exclude from the copy back would also be great.

You might as why I want this feature? I'm almost always booted from my Sandbox partition. All my updates go here first. It may be months before I'm sure the updates are stable and I'm ready to copy them to my primary system. Trying to keep track of the changes I've made manually does not always happen.

Comments?

Thanks.

I don't think a huge list of changes is going to be that useful, actually: remember, you can always clone back (see the User's Guide), which will apply them all, rather than trying to figure out what changes you've made.

That's what I do currently - I clone back and apply them all, or if my last few changes have made the sandbox unstable, I start over, unless I can safely remove my last few changes. What I would like to do is clone everthing back except the specifically identified items.

In any case, thanks for the great product.

I'm not sure that would be possible - determining what the changes were that you could not apply isn't an easy thing to do.
