Question How do you just shutdown Mac after backup

I have the unregistered version of SuperDuper and was wondering where the option to shut down the mac after backup is.

I tend to backup at the end of the day and let it shutdown after.

If there is not an option could somebody provide me with a way to do this other then sit there and wait for it to finish.

Thanks

At present, NeoHawkeye, there isn't an option to do that. You could try to put it in a shell script, but instead let me suggest holding tight until v2.0, where that *is* available as an option...

Hi
Why not use schedule to shut your mac down at a given time after SD has run.
system prefs/energy saver/schedule
or write a applescript that tags onto the end of the SD applescript so when it's finished running and upon exiting SD it shuts yor mac down, (needs to be registered to do this).

hope this helps.

It's hard to give a date, unfortunately. We *might* be opening up the beta more, to get broader coverage, but I haven't decided for sure yet.

In any case, until then your computer should sleep automatically after the backup is done, or you can schedule it with Energy Saver...

Another option is iWillQuit

Simple thing to set Sleep, ShutDown time after X mins. Better than Energy Saver Preference Pane as the time may often.

It was mentioned in latest Macworld. Get it and other nifty stuff at
