Password Protect Super Duper Clone/Backup

Hi,

I am about to get two new external firewire hard drives for my Powerbook and wanted to know if SuperDuper can provide password protection to my backup/clone on my external drive? I will be taking one drive off site and want to be sure the contents can be password protected in case it were to get stolen.

If SuperDuper does not have this feature, what would be the best way to password protect an external hard drive. I know the Maxtor drives have "drivelock: password" protection but I have been leaning towards a Lacie drive which doesn't seem to have this feature.

Thanks for any and all help!

You can place the backup in a sparse image (see http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81), and password protect that... but SuperDuper! has no direct means for protecting a drive: that'd really be something that the drive manufacturer would provide.
